From what we can determine, ads are no longer running on our videos at GunGuyTV. If they are, they are running only sparingly. Many advertisers have pulled ads from YouTube recently over allegations regarding “hateful content.” As you might imagine, we depend upon the small amount of revenue we receive from advertising to help us produce videos, maintain this blog, produce a podcast and more. We don’t know if YouTube advertising revenue will ever return. Regardless, the channel cannot survive without funding. Here’s how you can help:
- Buy your gun gear at our Amazon Affiliate store. The cost to you is the same, but we get a small commission from Amazon. If you find a product on Amazon that is not on our store, let us know. We’ll add it for you. You’ll find the store here: gunguy.tv/shop
- Sign up as a Patreon Patron for GunGuyTV. You can sign up for as little as $1 per month. That may not seem like much, but every dollar counts. If only 10% of our subscribers signed up for $1 per month, we could fund the channel easily. Check out our Patreon page at: www.patreon.com/gunguytv
- If you’re looking for CCW insurance, use the company that we use and sign up through our link. We use Second Call Defense. You can sign up for Second Call Defense here: www.secondcalldefense.org
- Donate. If you don’t want to do any of the above and would still like to help, you can simply give GunGuyTV a gift. You can donate as little or as much as you like. Just go to the top of the website and click on the “Donate” button.
We hope that YouTube advertising on our channel will pick up sometime soon. In the meantime, your help is vital. Thank you very much for helping keep GunGuyTV going.
Be safe,

Hi Steve.
Thanks for the note. I don’t think that you can go wrong with either the Ruger or the Smith. Depending upon budget, I would go with the gun that is the most comfortable for you to handle and shoot. As for the Taurus question. I don’t know if they offer a .22 magnum. My only experience with Taurus has been my Model 85 in .38 special. I’m sorry that I can’t help more.
Thanks again for the note.

Joel, looking at two guns to purchase either the Ruger two inch 22 Magnum or the Smith & Weson 351PD also a 22 Magnum. Reason I’m 69 & have lost the cartilage in both thumbs, so shooting my Ruger 2″ 38 special, I have both 2″ & 3″, really hurts and the 22 Magnum seemed best way to go.
I understand the basic differences in the two guns & the S&W costs about $309 +
more.
Does Tarus make a 2″ Magnum?
Appreciate your thoughts.
