The Robin 2 has a small stature that makes it especially user friendly in environments where pocketknives may draw undesired attention, whether that’s urban-inside or rural-outside. Full-flat-ground blade for enhanced edge geometry and cutting performance. Bi-directional textured FRN handle that offers a superior grip and increased control. Phosphor bronze Pivot washers for even smoother blade operation. Spine and choil jimping for precise control during use. Two-position pocket clip for tip-up or tip-down carry.
The Robin2 folding knife, from the affordably-priced byrd line of knives produced by innovative cutlery company Spyderco, is a solid, versatile, mid-sized knife. A full flat-ground blade is made of high-carbon 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, with a convenient comet-shaped hole for fast and easy one-handed opening.

Steady grip is essential when using a knife, which is why Spyderco placed cross-hatched jimping along the spine, creating nonslip grip where your thumb rests, for tactile resistance that ensures safe, accurate cutting. A fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) handle is molded with a proprietary Bi-Directional Texturing fish scale pattern for improved friction in your palm during use, even when your hands are wet or you’re wearing gloves. A four-way steel clip and lanyard hole offer a variety of carrying configurations, while the back lock has a David Boye cut-away dent, a safety feature allowing tight gripping without accidentally releasing the lock.

About Spyderco
Thinking beyond established knife industry practices has allowed Spyderco to introduce new innovations, including one-hand opening, serrations on a folder, and a clip to attach a knife to a pocket. Spyderco remains dedicated to researching and developing improved, better-performing materials with function and reliability, and its unique cutlery line is a result of designing ergonomic, functional tools. The company puts its new products through rigorous testing prior to release, examining edge retention with a CATRA machine, looking for rust development with Q-FOG, checking the force needed to open and close a knife, and analyzing numerous other technical details.
