Plinking with 22s. Something I loved to do with my dad.

My dad was a terrific guy and an expert marksman. He taught me how to shoot when I was a very small boy. I started with guns chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. Dad had an old 22 caliber Colt single action revolver. I loved shooting it. My grandpa had a Ruger Mark I semi-automatic pistol. I inherited the Ruger Mark I. My dad had sold the little Colt revolver long before he died. But, I bought a Ruger Single Six to shooting in his name and I love it.

My dad had given me an Ithaca Model 49 single shot .22 rifle. That was my gun as a boy. Dad and grandpa are gone now. They’ve been gone a long time. But, I still go plinking with them in mind and enjoy thinking back to those times when I was a boy. That’s what this video is about.
